Project Highlights
It was a development by the ministry of higher education with aim of equipping and upgrading the facilities at the Kenyan tertiary and technical institutes. The type of facility to be developed differed from institution to institution depending on the then state of existing facilities and the need of the institution.
Generator, stabilizer and fire hydrant, sprinkler system, Plumbing and drainage, structured cabling, CCTV, fire/smoke detectors, and e Power Reticulation and external lighting.
This was a versatile development comprising of the following proposed facilities: Primary school, Library, Workshops, Tuition block – classrooms, Tuition block – computer labs, Future Tuition Block, Men’s hostels, Ladies, hostels, Social hall, New Kitchen and Dining, Community centre, Applied and Health science Labs, Principal’s House, Deputy Principal’s house, Senior staff housing, Future senior staff housing, Junior staff housing, Future, junior staff housing, Power Reticulation and external lighting.
